- Rinse with Cold Water: You should flip that piece of clothing inside out, and under the stain, and run the back side of the stain under some cold running water. This will help to get the coffee out of the fabric and also will help make sure the stain doesn’t get any worse.
- Apply a Cleaning Solution: Get a quart of cold water, and mix one tablespoon of white vinegar and one tablespoon of laundry soap into it. Get a clean cloth, and with the mixture, gently sponge it onto the stain, and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
- Rinse and Wash: If you don’t see the stain anymore, you can continue washing the item like you normally do. But before you put it in the dryer, check to see if the stain is gone. Once you put the stain in the dryer, the heat will set the stain and it will be hard to get out.
